Magic moment of the day: “My most magic moment was when I was walking down the aisle; I was so nervous, I couldn’t look up, and when I did, all I could see was the biggest smile on Christian’s face; that look carried me all the way to the altar without a hitch. I will never ever forget that moment – when I looked up and saw him waiting there for me.”




Lidia wore a breathtaking couture strapless gown designed for her by Pallas Bride, the train on her veil was two metres in length. Christian and his groomsmen wore sophisticated Black Hugo Boss suits.

The bridesmaids wore pink, three quarter length halter-neck dresses that were made from two shades of pink fabric – the combination was simple and elegant.




The wedding was far from ordinary. Lidia inventively planned her own wedding fairytale based around the Baroque era only with a modern twist. Their 186 guests were ‘hand delivered’ mythical hardcover story book invitations in noble white boxes.

The reception was held at Acqua Viva in Nedlands, the decor and atmosphere was romantic and chic, and the decorations were supplied by Special Occasions and Chandelabra.

They created a guest chill room that was also used to take photos for added fun. They gave their guests gourmet chocolates as bomboniere that were presented in matching boxes like the invitations, only with pink colouring for the girls and blue for the boys.



The honeymoon followed with 12 romantic nights at the Cook Islands.
