Over a nine year period Donna and Grant met at weddings and birthdays. Friends constantly played cupid in trying to set them up. At that point in time they both couldn’t think of anything worse. Seven years later they paired up as bridesmaid and groomsman for a friends wedding, only still not attracted to one another. Six years later on Donnas 30th birthday they met again and finally clicked. Grant lived in Karratha and Donna in Dubai!

The couple naturally commuted for as long as they could until they couldn’t live apart any longer. Donna finally moved to Karratha and traded her stillettos for capped boots and now they can both live happily ever after!



LOVE IN THE DUST - THE PROPOSAL
No big frills yet perfect! One evening at home in Karratha following a hard days work Grant dropped onto one knee in the lounge, and popped the question. The lovable lounge is where they stayed hugging like, ‘forever’.
