Something Blue

Traditionally, brides incorporate something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue in their weddings. This tradition stems from an old rhyme, “Something olde, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in your shoe”. Family and friends gave old, new, borrowed and blue items to the bride for good luck on her wedding day. Now day, brides are finding their own objects to incorporate into tradition.
